Modern ministry is not only about spiritual guidance but it also requires strategic vision, financial literacy, and management skills. That is why, in collaboration with the Association of Consecrated Life and the Lviv School of Business Executives, we have launched an educational program for general superiors, hegumens, and monastery oikonomos.

Last week, we officially began the training with the first module of the program, “Leadership Management: Strategy and Ministry,” designed for general superiors of monastic communities.

Our goal is to strengthen the leadership capacity of superiors and integrate a strategic approach to management with spiritual service. That is why the first module was focused on leadership, personal strategy, and organizational strategy. During the session, participants deepened their understanding of their roles as leaders, developed personal growth strategies, and explored ways to strengthen their communities.

Two participants shared their feedback:

“During the course, I had the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals who provided integrated, non-linear knowledge applicable to different situations. There were many practical examples, and the topics on project development for serving others were particularly valuable. I found this training extremely useful. Thank you to the organizers and lecturers!”
— Sister Khrystophora

“I am thrilled with this project, the lecturers, and the organization, as well as with the people who generously share their knowledge and experience. I deeply appreciate the opportunity for exchange between Roman Catholics and Greek Catholics. I look forward to the next session. Thank you sincerely to the organizers!”
— Sister Miriam

The next module of the program will focus on building relationships within and beyond the community. This is a crucial topic, as effective relationship management is the foundation of a healthy and harmonious community. Participants will learn how to foster trust, support, and mutual understanding within their communities, as well as how to effectively engage with the external environment.

Stay tuned for updates to learn more about the next stages of the program!
