The Platform for Social Change invites teachers to take part in the professional development course “Methodology for Implementing the Practical Case ‘School Enterprise: From Idea to Implementation’.”

The course is designed for educators who want to move beyond teaching entrepreneurship as a set of theoretical topics and start working with student teams on practical projects.

Registration is open from September 23 to October 25, 2026.

The training will take place on November 5–6 and November 19–20, 2026, in Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine. The course consists of four days of in-person training.

Participation is free of charge.

More Than Theory: A Ready-to-Use Methodology for Working with Students

The main goal of the course is to provide teachers with practical tools they can use directly in their schools.

During the training, participants will go through the same tasks, exercises and stages that they can later use with their own student teams.

Each participant will receive a complete teaching and methodological package, including:

  • a methodological handbook and presentations with ready-to-use lesson plans, exercises, interactive activities and reflection methods;
  • a student workbook with practical tasks, templates and tools;
  • facilitation cards “Social Entrepreneurship: From Idea to Implementation” for interactive and team-based work with students.

Teachers will also explore Learning by Doing, project-based learning and facilitation approaches. They will learn how to organise the work of student teams and support them throughout the entire process — from identifying a problem and developing an idea to creating a business model, identifying resources, financial planning, marketing and presenting their project.

Previous experience in entrepreneurship is not required.

The course is designed so that teachers do not have to develop an entire practical entrepreneurship methodology from scratch. Instead, they receive ready-to-use materials, test the tools during the training and learn how to apply them with their students.

Who Is the Course For?

The course is open to:

  • teachers who currently teach or plan to teach Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy;
  • extracurricular and school activity coordinators;
  • class teachers;
  • educators working with student projects;
  • teachers interested in practical, project-based and entrepreneurship education.

The course is also particularly relevant for schools that want to develop students’ entrepreneurial competences in a systematic and practical way.

As a result, the school gains a trained teacher-facilitator who can organise teamwork, support student projects and apply a ready-to-use methodology in the educational process.

Certification

After successfully completing the course, participants will receive:

  • a professional development certificate for 33 hours / 1 ECTS credit;
  • a certificate within the international Erasmus+ ESIC project.

What Happens After the Course?

The course is the first stage in preparing teachers for practical work with student teams.

After completing the training, schools can move to the next stage and join the Social Entrepreneurship Bootcamps in Schools programme.

During the Bootcamps, teachers will apply the methodology they learned during the course while working with their own student teams.

Students will have the opportunity to:

  • work on a real entrepreneurial project;
  • develop a business plan for a future school enterprise;
  • work with practising entrepreneurs;
  • receive mentoring support;
  • prepare and present their solutions;
  • compete for grant support for the strongest student projects.

Throughout this stage, teachers will receive methodological support from the Platform for Social Change, while student teams will have the opportunity to work with entrepreneur mentors.

Schools will be able to confirm their participation in the Bootcamps by December 15, 2026. The practical stage will take place during the second semester of the 2026–2027 academic year.
