Today, more and more people prefer healthy, high-quality, and natural products. That’s why farmers’ markets, local markets, and organic fairs are gaining popularity. They build trust between producers and consumers, give businesses the opportunity to sell directly without intermediaries, and stimulate local production.

The Platform for Social Change and the #GRAINSproject invite farmers, producers of local and craft products, small and medium-sized businesses, cooperatives, and civil society organizations to a practical training session: “Local Markets”.

This training will be useful if you:

  • Want to sell your products directly and at a fair price

  • Are looking for new sales channels — farmers’ markets, fairs, local markets

  • Value direct contact with customers and want to better understand their needs

  • Are interested in how this works in other countries and what could be adapted locally

During the session, you will learn:

  • How to access local markets and fairs, and what is required to do so

  • Stories of entrepreneurs with similar sales experiences

  • Practical tips on organizing sales and working with customers

Among the speakers are project partners and entrepreneurs from Germany, Spain, Italy, and Romania, who will share their experiences of selling at local markets and creating sustainable sales models.

The training will take place online on May 27, starting at 10:30 AM. Participation is free of charge. Register here: https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/YW-NcCcCQFygBJGSITl8gg
