On June 24, Kamianets-Podilskyi will host the final youth event for Social Business Day — “From Idea to Action: Youth Shaping Change.”

The event will mark the completion of work by student teams who have taken part in social entrepreneurship bootcamps over the past months. Participants worked on their own ideas, explored the needs of their schools and communities, learned to work in teams, present solutions, and turn an idea into a practical project.

At the heart of the event are young people, their first public voice, and their experience of moving from learning to action. Student teams will present their projects to a jury, experts, mentors, and partners, receive feedback, and publicly defend their ideas.

For the Platform for Social Change, this event is an important conclusion to the learning semester and, at the same time, a confirmation that young people can be not only participants in educational programmes, but also full authors of solutions for their communities.

Young People Who Are Not Only Learning, but Taking Action

The main idea of the event is to show that social change can begin with the first ideas developed by students. When young people see the needs around them, work in teams, and receive support, they are able to propose solutions for their schools, communities, and local environments.

That is why the event is not only competitive, but also educational, motivational, and celebratory. It is a space where participants can feel the value of their work, receive recognition, and see themselves as part of a wider community of young people ready to take responsibility for change.

What Will Happen During the Event

The programme includes presentations of 11 student team ideas. Each team will present its project, answer questions from the jury, and gain first-hand experience in publicly defending an idea before an expert audience.

After the presentations, participants will join an interactive reflection session, “Platform in 5 Accents.” This session will help teams reflect on their journey, recognise their achievements, lessons learned, and next steps after completing the programme.

The final part of the event will include an award ceremony for the teams, a group photo, and a celebratory closing. The event is intended to become a moment of support, gratitude, and recognition for the work of every participant.
