On October 30–31, the Platform for Social Change held an intensive program “Artificial Intelligence for Business” in Kamianets-Podilskyi for grantees and alumni of our initiatives from the Khmelnytskyi region.

During the two learning modules, participants explored how to apply AI to grow their businesses — from process automation and content creation to analytics and customer support.

Under the guidance of expert Oleksii Minakov, they:

  • worked with tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, NotebookLM, Veo 3, Sora, Midjourney, and HeyGen;
  • developed practical scenarios for integrating AI into business processes, including marketing, sales, and document management;
  • created mini-strategies for introducing AI in their enterprises;
  • discussed ethical considerations and safe practices for AI usage.

For many participants, this was their first experience working with AI, which immediately demonstrated the practical value of these technologies for social entrepreneurship:

“This course was a real discovery for me! Thanks to the practical exercises, I created my own AI assistant that helps me plan production, automate document management, and respond more quickly to customer needs.

This knowledge has given me confidence in my abilities. I feel that I can improve my farm by implementing new technologies while also contributing to the development of my community. It was an incredible experience that truly changes the way you approach business!”

— shares Aliona Shybunko, owner of the “Epiravlyk” farm and graduate of the Social Entrepreneurship Accelerator.

Results:

  • Over 25 enterprises gained practical knowledge on how to use AI for growth;
  • A community of practitioners was formed, who now exchange real-life AI use cases;
  • A toolkit for further training within local communities was developed.

This training is part of the Platform for Social Change’s ongoing efforts to strengthen entrepreneurial capacity in the regions. We help social entrepreneurs adapt to digital transformation and integrate innovation into their sustainable development models.
