Platform for Social Change held a working meeting with the leadership of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration
On March 4, representatives of the Platform for Social Change held a working meeting with the leadership of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration. During the meeting, the parties discussed the results of the international CAPABLE project and explored opportunities for further cooperation to strengthen the system of social services in local communities of the region.
The meeting was attended by Roman Uzhva, Deputy Head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration; Viktoriia Olkhova, Advisor to the Deputy Head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration; Vadym Maruniak, Acting Director of the Department of Social Protection of the Khmelnytskyi Regional State (Military) Administration; and Iryna Sytnyk, Chief Specialist of the Department for Personnel and Internally Displaced Persons.
During the meeting, the Platform for Social Change team presented the key areas of the organization’s work and shared information about activities implemented within the international CAPABLE project, supported by the Interreg Europe programme. The project aims to strengthen care and support systems for older people and promote modern approaches to organizing social services in communities.
Participants also discussed the results of the activities already implemented, including cooperation with local communities and social sector professionals, and identified potential areas for further collaboration to enhance social services in the region.
Such meetings contribute to strengthening cooperation between civil society organizations and public authorities and are an important step toward implementing practical solutions that improve the quality of life in communities.
