<\/p>\nThe Platform for Social Change has opened applications for the 2026 Social Entrepreneurship Accelerator for monastic communities \u2014 a free program designed to help turn ideas of service into sustainable projects with a solid economic foundation. Applications are open until April 10.<\/p>\n
A monastery is not only about spiritual life, but also about daily responsibility: managing resources, caring for people, and serving the community. Many communities have ideas that could grow into social initiatives or enterprises, but often lack the tools and support needed to make them sustainable.<\/p>\n
This is why the Platform for Social Change is launching the 2026 Social Entrepreneurship Accelerator for monastic communities \u2014 a program that combines organizational development, entrepreneurial approaches, and the mission of service.<\/p>\n
The program will run for three months and includes a combination of learning, mentoring, and hands-on work on participants\u2019 own ideas.<\/p>\n

Participants will go through five training modules, work with mentors, and gain practical tools to build viable projects. The program covers key areas such as business modeling, Theory of Change, financial planning, marketing, and scaling.<\/p>\n
A strong emphasis is placed on practical outcomes: participants develop a clear vision for their project, prepare a business plan, and create a presentation for potential partners.<\/p>\n
The program will conclude with a Pitch Day, where participants present their ideas to donors and partners. The best projects will be eligible to apply for grant funding of up to UAH 300,000 for further development.<\/p>\n
Program Schedule<\/strong><\/p>\n April 20 (online) \u2014 Kick-off (introductory) session Location:<\/strong> Lviv, 3 Vesela Street (Optima Collection Mural Lviv)<\/p>\n Monastic communities are invited to apply if they have an idea or are already implementing social or economic initiatives and seek to make them more structured and sustainable. The recommended format of participation is a team of two people from one monastery.<\/p>\n Participation in the program is competitive, and the number of places is limited.<\/p>\n
