“Space for Interaction”: Practical Entrepreneurship at School — From Subject to Practice
On September 23, 2026, Platform for Social Change will host “Space for Interaction: Practical Entrepreneurship at School — From Subject to Practice” in Khmelnytskyi. The event will bring together educators, entrepreneurs, mentors, and community representatives around one key question: how can we give students not only knowledge about business, but also real experience in developing their own projects?

How can we turn entrepreneurship from a school subject into practical experience where students work with real challenges facing their communities?
This question will be at the heart of the first event in Platform for Social Change’s autumn “Space for Interaction” series.
The meeting will take place offline in Khmelnytskyi on September 23 and will bring together up to 30 participants.
From a classroom lesson to a real student project
During the event, we will present a professional development course for teachers, complete with a ready-to-use methodological toolkit, including a handbook, workbook, activity cards, lesson scenarios, and facilitation tools.
Using real cases from previous Bootcamps, we will show how a student idea can move from identifying a problem to testing a solution and collaborating with mentors, businesses, and the community.
The focus is not only on how to teach students about entrepreneurship, but also on how to organize practical work with their ideas — step by step, from the classroom to implementation.
Turning real school and community challenges into student solutions
A key part of the event will be the creation of a Challenge Bank — a collection of real challenges faced by schools, young people, and communities.
Participants will be able to contribute challenges from their own schools and communities, giving them the opportunity to become the basis for real student solutions.
These challenges will “travel” through the event series, and in December, at the Impact Projects Pitch Day, we will see which of them have already inspired solutions.
Teachers Community: a space for continued professional growth
During the event, Platform for Social Change will also open registration for the professional development course and form the first circle of Teachers Community — a community of teachers and practitioners focused on knowledge exchange, methodological support, and partnerships.
Participants will have an opportunity to become part of the Platform’s wider ecosystem, where a teacher can continue developing through different roles:
teacher → training participant → trainer → student team mentor → community expert.
The event will also provide an opportunity to meet entrepreneurs, mentors, and community representatives who are ready to support student initiatives.
Who is this event for?
We invite:
- teachers who teach or plan to teach Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy in grades 8–9;
- teacher-organizers and educators working with student projects;
- school principals and deputy principals interested in introducing practical entrepreneurship education;
- community representatives, entrepreneurs, mentors, and cooperatives ready to support student initiatives.

This meeting is the first of three events in Platform for Social Change’s autumn “Space for Interaction” series.
